Round-by-Round Draft Board Quick List of Draft Rules The draft will start promptly at the time specified.  If you are late, you risk losing picks. Talking will not be permitted during the draft.  Please do not interrupt the course of the draft unless it is an emergency.  Please avoid sending the commissioner Instant Messages outside the AOL I/M Chat Room as well since I will not have time to respond.  If you continually interrupt the draft, you will be penalized with loss of draft picks. There will be a 60 second limit per pick from the time the commissioner announces a team's name to make a selection.  If this time limit is abused, it will begin to be strictly enforced. Keep up with selections made... Requesting a player already selected or asking who has already been selected slows down the draft.  If you try to "double-pick" a player more than once, you could forfeit that round's draft pick.

June 18 Deadline for submitting draft date preferences is 5pm ET.  Draft date will be determined earlier if all teams submit their preferences before the deadline. June 18 Keeper selections may begin to be submitted. July 14 Deadline for submitting keeper selections. July 15 Teams may begin to submit pre-draft trade deals to the commissioner. August 10 Deadline for pre-draft trade deals is 5pm ET. August 15, 8pm ET Deadline for substituting retiring Keeper players with an alternate keeper. August 17, 8pm ET 2008 AFFL Draft August 28 Week 1 first round transaction requests may begin to be submitted. September 2 Deadline for Week 1 first round transction requests is 10pm ET. September 4, 7-8 Kickoff Weekend
